Digitally signed program question
Hello. If company users work offline and they run a code signed software, how does the certificate revocation status check work? The revocation status tries to check from an online server, whether the certificate used to sign the software is legit, but if the users are off-line, will it produce an error? Especially an error that is visible to end-users? Thanks for your help

If revocation is offline, it should not produce visible errors during signature validation. My weblog: http://en-us.sysadmins.lv PowerShell PKI Module: http://pspki.codeplex.com

Thanks I thought as well. The error seems to come only to details tab -> extended error information on the certificate, not directly visible to end-user.
