Diagnostic module radardt.dll encountered an error while handling scenario...
We have a newer Windows 2008 Server SP2 x64 Standard Edition and running only SQL 2008 SP1. It is a dual proc quad core with hyperthreading and 32GB RAM. Recently we have been getting this error every few days and sometimes mulitiple times in the same day. The server Diagnostic module {c0f51d84-11b9-4e74-b083-99f11ba2db0a} (%windir%\system32\radardt.dll) detected a problem for scenario {739ff6cf-5033-428c-9e2f-582096482dd5}, instance {2394d3c7-6df5-40b7-b87c-5ce7a6316447},original activity ID {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}. SQL Server is not producing any errors so I am guessing this appears to be an OS problem. Not finding anyting around the net so thought I would ask here if anyone has encountered it or at least give me some additional places to start looking. Thanks! Shawn

Hi Shawn, This issue appears to be a race condition between the user logging on and the resource exhaustion detector trying to get the user token to pre-launch the resolver. Since the User login process isn’t complete, the resolver fails to retrieve the User Credentials required and fails. The detector returns an error to the WDI. This does not affect the functioning of the detector or the resolver, but affects our ability to pre-launch the resolver. The CPR team is intending to fix this in later versions based on the frequency of the occurrence of this error. This event isn't harmful to the system as such. The only drawback being the resolver cannot prelaunch itself and test the specific scenario, before the user logon is complete. Hello there, have the same issue. I confirm everything is running properly for me on my servers. I am wondering though how can we can get the error to go away, for the mere reason that I want to be able to see all the checkboxes in green in my SBS reports, no more than that....

This is happening on our Win 2008 Standard server which is a Hyper-V virtual instance. It has 2 processors and 6 gb of ram assigned. It happens about every 30-60 minutes. I don't know what affect it may have on the functioning of the system. We have other issues that aren't working and this could possibly be the underlying root cause but I'm not sure. This is a brand new server instance.
