Determine location of a view in navigation pane?

Hi,

I imported the Forefront Identity Management Management Pack. It took me a while till I found the monitor views however in the navigation pane (It's under "Windows ServicesAndProcessMonitoring"->"Forefront Identity Manager".

However, I'd like to know if there is a way to determine the location of a view? There is a search (even advanced search), but from the search result there is no way to 'jump' to the respective point in the navigation pane.

Hi Michael

Not that I know of - thankfully the FIM MP is about the only one where the author has decided to bizarrely locate the views in a random location like this.

Ok. Thanks anyway for your reply. I've also tried to determine the navigation pane location by taking a look into the SQL database. Thought maybe it is possible to find the object, then his parent object, and so on. Didn't also work.

The search result window should get the possiblity to jump to a result.

Hi There,

I am not sure if i understood the question correctly ? Are you finding it difficult to navigate to the views defined in the management pack in the monitoring tab ?

If yes then you can find that once more and add it to Favorites.
