Deploying printers with Group Policy

Dear All,

I have some questions need you to help regarding Printers Server.

I-We have three Printers server:

1-Canon

2-Xerox

3-Toshib

We have three kind of groups (Users) need to be assigned

1-Canon and Xerox assigned for All Users

2-Toshiba assigned for specific users (User C, User D, and User E)

II-We need also only two machines (Machine 1 and Machine 2) that we want to assigned for specific users (User A, User B, User C) with Toshiba and Xerox

 

We are using Windows Server 2008 R2 as File and Print Server.

As far as I know, "Item-level targeting" feature in GPP can help you to accomplish this. By that you can assign each printer to a specific security group as you wish.
