Deny move and copy permissions to files and folders
We have several folders where I want the users to be able to read, edit, and create files. What I do not want them to be able to do is copy, move or delete these files. I can remove delete permissions but have not been able to figure out how to remove copy and move permissions without taking away write permissions. Can anyone help? I am running Windows Server 2003 SP1 without Active Directory.

I'd suggest installing an RMS-server and protecting your documents that way. If you can read it you can copy it... Here's some more info on Rights Management Services: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/technologies/rightsmgmt/default.mspx

Is there any other way to do this? We are not running Active Directory and have file types other than Microsoft that need to be protected. We are not so much worried about the data in the file being copied/moved as we are wholesale copying/moving of the files in a folder.
