Dell PE 2850 / Intel Proset / Windows Server 2008
Hello all, I am trying to team 2 (eventually 4) network interfaces on a dell Power Edge 2850 with an Intel 1000/Pro MT dual network adapter. I have tried to install Intel Proset several times using 2003, XP, and Vista versions of the driver. None of these make the Proset specific tabs available on the device properties page, nor does Proset install as an application. I have also tried to run the proset installation separate from the driver update and the installer states that I must get a 64-bit version in order to install, except I am running on a 32-bit machine???? Any sugggestions? Best Regards, Nick Johnson

i have servers witth dual BCom and dual Intel NICs. i have used the built in bridging to combine the Bcom NICs but i'm now trying to find something to team the Intels. When i try to bridge them i am only offered the option of adding them to the Bcom bridge, not creating a new bridge.

Hi there, ProSet Suite for Intel Pro1000MT Server Adapters in Windows Server 2008 R2 still not released or even supported. Intel itself only released drivers and software for these adapters to Windows 2008 Server x86/x64. http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Network+Connectivity&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+Server+Adapters&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+PRO%2f1000+MT+Dual+Port+Server+Adapter
