Deleting log files.
Hi.
I have a Windows 2003 server and running out of space.
After looking arround, I found that I have several log files in the following directory:
c:\windows\system32\LogFiles\W3SVC1
It is possible to delete all *.log files in this folder?
Looking forward to your answer.
Thank you in advance.

Yes it is possible to delete those log files, they are the default IIS log files, if you are running a website on that server, you may consider saving those files off, they can be used for metric data. Otherwise you can delete them all with no harm
to your server.:P Advice offered, If you need more help it is advised to seek the council and advice of paid professionals. The answer is always 42, or reboot.

These logs can safely be deleted. They are a tool for you, not for IIS.
