Hi guys and girls,

We have to following delegation of control (read) on DHCP scopes.

But when I start the DHCP tool as a user of the viewer group it doesn't show content at all.

Custom admin groups does work without a problem:

Hi,

It does not work that way. What you have done is delegating access to the NetServices container under configuration partition in AD. That contains all authorized DHCP servers in your active directory domain. This does not delegate the right to manage DHCP using the MMC management console. It just provides the view way for a delegated user to that container entries.

To delegate management over the DHCP server settings you need to add the user to "DHCP Users" local group within that dhcp server local users and groups.
