Dedicated Search Farm

Currently got a batch server and a WFE with a SQL backend. (Farm A)

The search is taking to many resources from the SQL(20%) so I would like to create a dedicated search farm (2 servers with Windows 2012 R2) with a seperate SQL server, that the WFE and Batch servers then can utilize.

I have a bunch of questions before I start

  1. I create a new farm - but do I just install SharePoint on the new Dedicated Search Servers(DSS) and only make one SSA? - no other services and Service applications is needed?
  2. Can I re-use the current service accounts that runs on Farm A?
  3. On FarmA, I delete the SSA that currently there, or can I wait until the DSS servers have built an index so the users won't be affected in their search?
  4. How do I tell the FarmA to use the DSS?
  5. The Search topology only needs to be on DSS?
  6. Where shall I store the index files?
  7. Do I need to trust the farm with each other?
  8. Which services should run on the current farm
  9. Is there any "step by step guides" or other online resources where I can see how-to?

that's some questions (have a lot more - but that will do for now)

Hope someone can help?
