Database Diagrams in Management Studio
Friends, I just installed Management Studio 2016 CP1. Unfortunately, the Database Diagrams branch does not show-up when I expand the individual databases in Object Explorer. Interestingly, they show-up in Management Studio 2008. Any ideas? Thanks.

I find when testing that I see the node when I'm connected to an instance running SQL 2016 or SQL 2014. If I'm connected to SQL 2012 and earlier, I don't see it.

In SSMS 2014, I see the node even if I'm connected to SQL 2005.

I can't say whether this is an intentional change or a mishap. But if it is intentional, I see no reasons why they would not show the node for SQL 2012 instances, given that SQL 2012 is still a fully supported version.
