Data Sync failed

Hi,

Recently I encounter some issues when try to sync data from an Azure SQL Database to another Azure SQL Database by SQL Data Sync (Review) serivce.

The following exceptions is getting from Windows Azure Management portal:

Sync failed with the exception "An unexpected error occurred when applying batch file C:\Resources\directory\a5aada091f5946db9054895c1236af01.NTierSyncServiceWorkerRole.BatchDir\DSS_aad33f80-a699-4ed0-b4d3-1403a3b5e4e4\sync_2ee7f82a6d9743babe249e3f948a950907270dbaddf5412b85a03bc09a0d166e\35fb73f6-2b67-4384-8150-68679fba688a.batch. See the inner exception for more details.Inner exception: Failed to execute the command 'UpdateCommand' for table 'dbo.XXX'; the transaction was rolled back. Ensure that the command syntax is correct.Inner exception: SqlException Error Code: -2146232060 - SqlError Number:40197, Message: The service has encountered an error processing your request. Please try again. Error code 40174. SqlError Number:0, Message: A severe error occurred on the current command.  The results, if any, should be discarded. " For more information, provide tracing ID aad33f80-a699-4ed0-b4d3-1403a3b5e4e4 to customer support.

Can anyone help to provide more information about this problem?

Hi WeIIJ,

According to your error message, you need to check if there is some issue about your update command statement. If the update syntax is correct. I recommend you that reconnect to your SQL Database server, it will automatically connect you to a healthy copy of your database, then try again to sync.

Can you provide your sync group id?

So we can check anything wrong in your sync group.

Could you check the index of the related table 'dbo.XXX', to see whether it is corrupted. Or you can try re-create the index of it. Please tell us if it works.
