Data Sync Group Changes After the Aug 18, 2015 Client Update Deadline

I've been seeing a very strange error since the August 18 deadline for updating the data sync client. Firstly, I want to say that we updated the data sync client following the guidance in the documentation at the end of July, well ahead of the deadline. We were able to change sync groups prior to 8/18 without issue, adding a table or removing a column. Any of the sync groups which have not changed since 8/18 are syncing fine. But when we've changed a sync group since 8/18, any of the unchanged tables or columns in the group stop syncing. There's no error or warning, it still shows as syncing successfully in the logs, but it's not actually syncing the changes. The collation on the database and the tables is the same in both the hub and member databases. The only way I've found to get the other tables syncing again is to remove them from the sync group, and add them back to the sync group again.

Was there something I missed beyond the team blog post which was required for the August 18 update? Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi,

Could you please provide the sync group id and azure subscription id of the problematic sync group?

I'd like to share that most of SQL Data Sync customers have upgraded their Local Agent to the latest version and working good as previously. So I'll dig deeper into your case.

Regards,
Bowen
