DVR Video Server
Justupgraded from Server 2000 to 2008 SBS now need to add the DVR video Server to network so client workstations can view.Worked fine under Server 2000 but Not really sure on how to do this under SBS 2008.Video system has limited configuration abilities and can only set IP address/subnet/gateway/and network name. DVRserver isnamed dvrls.dvrviewer. cannot change this. DVR is connected to network throughrouter which acted as DCHP serverunder 2000 but the 2008 SBS is filling that role now. Have set static IP address as 192.168.1.100 and created reservation for same on server but obviously this is not enough as nothing is connecting. The SBS server doesn't even see the DVR. Anyone been through this and can offer assistance would be much appreciated
