DTHMLED.ocx on Server 2008?
Hello,
I running software that requires dhtmled.ocx.
I've read all about its removal from Vista/Server 2008 and have used the
dhtmled.msi patch on a Vista machine and that
worked fine, I was able to use the software again.
Another user is also trying to get the software running on
Server 2008, I havent tested it for myself but they have assured me that they
have tried the patch and the steps I used to get it working on Vista but that it does not appear to be working for them,
the application still will not run.
Does anyone know if the dhtmled.msi installer is meant to work for Server 2008
as well? I've searched for an answer but can't seem to fine one. If it does
work then at least I know the other user doing something wrong as I have no
means to test it the fix on 2008 from my end.
Thanks.

Hi Luke83,
Based on my test, the installer of DHTML Editing Control for Applications (dhtmled.msi) can be installed and work on Windows Server 2008.
