It's just DMP 2007 for starter, then later i want to install sp1, but i just can't get started with the installation due to compatibility errors. Is making a virtual hd as back-up server an option? I mean installing dpm 2007 and dpm 2007 sp1 on a virtual win 2003 server and managing my parent and other virtual servers with it?Thanks in advance!

I don't get the compatibility erroranymore on the installation start ofDMP 2007, but i was wondering if you lose some functionality when you install the dpm softwareon a virtual disk...Is it ok tomake a 'backup-server' vhd for backuping your entire parent (vhd's separately)?thnx
