DNS records change unexpectedly
I have a small windows 2003 domain with 5 servers and 45 clients distributed through 3 separate sites. At one site,a server runs ISA 2004 and acts as a firewall for outgoing and incoming traffic. On a daily basis, the DNS record in the forward lookup zone for the internal network interface changes from 192.168.10.2 to 192.168.17.xx, which is in the ip range used for vpn connections. This unexpected change causes interruption of network services to the clients until I manually reset the correct address. I have found nothing in the event logs to indicate any dns issues. But the network interface address is still correctly assignedon the server. Only the dns records in the forward lookup zoneson the DC's are getting changed. Does anyone have any idea on what would cause these dns records to change?
