DNS issue with Windows Server 2003
Forgive me as I'm not exactly an expert at this but.... Two days ago, we started having issues connecting to certain websites - notably nj.com and facebook. I can access them if I use a public DNS server. I can't, however, connect when I use our Windows Server 2003 DNS. Here's what I tried and here are the results - Flushed the DNS on the clients. Deleted the caches and cookies. Tried reaching the sites by FQDN and IP. By IP address, I got one of two errors - "The requested URL "/", is invalid." or simply "SERVER ERROR". Trying to access it via the domain name just hung up my browsers (i've tried Firefox, Chrome, and IE).Pings were successful to both the IP and domain name.telnet connections on port 80 timeout.tracerts are successful.Restart DNS service on the server (more out of desperation). Nothing going.Used a public proxy server. - I was able to connect. (I hope we aren't banned as we are a public library!) Any ideas?

Hello, Make sure your server has the correct DNS forwarders, either your ISP DNS servers or other public DNS servers like 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4. Also check to see if your firewall is blocking EDNS0. Please look at a similar issue with EDNS0: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winservergen/thread/2a5d31af-5993-42eb-abf7-7f1e78823e50/#38c91544-e5d3-4c31-bd85-57c0c1afeca7
