DNS Host name not resloving in windows 2003 server
Hello -
I am trying to run nslookup to a LAN domain. The address resolves to its destination, but I get the message "can't find server name for address (ip address of server) default servers are not available". So I guess to resolve this I need to give
the server a name -
how can I do this?
Thanks for you time.

Sounds like you don’t have reverse lookup zone on the DNS server.
Do you have proper DNS configuration on this server?
Do you have a reverse lookup zone on the DNS server?
