DNS Error
i have already configured a windows XP to my domain and it works like a charm but when it comes to configuring a Windows Ultimate Client the Following Error Occurs "An attempt to resolve the DNS name o a domain controller i the domain being joined has failed"

Hi, If you see the DNS server is different on both the systems. Make sure proper DNS server is assigned to the system and then try to join it to the domainThanks and Regards, Mukesh. I see a lot of IP Addresses in the DNS Server list on XP system but a single DNS IP Address on Win 7. You have these DNS servers listed: DNS Servers.........................:192.168.0.111 192.168.0.101 41.203.203.18 41.203.203.19 8.8.8.8 The 192.168.0.x DNS servers are your local DNS servers on your network. The other three are public dns servers and cannot resolve any of your internal DNS. You should remove the three public DNS servers from the client, leaving only the 192.168.0.x DNS servers. Should fix your issue.
