DNS Changer / DNSChanger and Microsoft
I've seen people talk all around this elsewhere, but simply put -- Does Microsoft Malicious Software Update and/or Microsoft Safety Scanner address detection and/or removal of server and desktop infection by the DNS Changer / DnsChanger malware that the FBI is warning about ( http://www.fbi.gov/news/stories/2011/november/malware_110911/DNS-changer-malware.pdf )?

Hi, All MS antivirus products could detect the DNSChanger malware via their malware definition. I suggest you use Microsoft Safety Scanner to scan your system. If the malware is not detected, please submit a sample to Microsoft Malware Protection Center. One DNSChanger malware detail defined in malware definition (The trojan may modify DNS settings on the host computer to enable the attacker to perform these tasks.
