how do i turn logging in a local DNS server? Because of malicious dns queries, i need to determine the exact ip when this option is turn on.

You can turn on debugging, but don't leave it enabled when you are done with the collection of data.
Open the DNS Admin console, properties of the server object, Debug Logging tab.Visit: anITKB.com, an IT Knowledge Base.
