Dear All, I have configured a Redundant Domain Controller on Windows 2008 server (PDC and BDC), both controller configured as DNS server, but when Primary domain conrtroller (PDC) is down, if i do "nslookup" on BDC DNS resolution still trys to find the PDC server. Zone transfer between PDC and BDC is working fine. please help me out.

Hello, Please post an unedited ipconfig /all from both DCs. Is th nslookup to an external one and are forwarders configured on the new DNS server?
