DHCP: A forward lookup zone should be configured for the DNS domain used to register DNS records for IPv4 clients.
Howdy Everyone,
I am running a domain environment that consists of 2 domain controllers. Let’s call them DC01 and DC02. I have Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services on DC01 and Active
Directory, DNS on DC02.
When i run the Best practices analyser i get the following error:
DHCP: A forward lookup zone should be configured for the DNS domain used to register DNS records for IPv4 clients.
Under resolution it states that i need to configure a forward lookup zone for my domain, which i have already done when i set up the server. I have double checked and i have a forward
lookup zone set up for my domain but this error still persists.
Has anyone else had a similar issue and do i need to worry about the error?
Thanks
Sam
