DCOM Error 10009 Comptuer No Longer Exists
I have read this article: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-IE/winservergen/thread/8a2b2f79-6e0a-4b9c-bd30-7ddabd9ca105 which explains my problem exactly however I do not think the solution answers the problem. How can I locate the component trying to access this computer and remove the problem.Jamie Fisher

Hi Jamie, do you mean that the computer had disjoined domain and you stil receive the error? You can help to collect the MPSReport from Windows Server 2008 R2 for further research. 1. Download proper MPS Report tool from the website below. Microsoft Product Support Reports http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=CEBF3C7C-7CA5-408F-88B7-F9C79B7306C0&displaylang=en 2. Double-click to run it, if requirement is not met, please follow the wizard to download and install them. After that, click Next, when the "Select the diagnostics you want to run" page appears, select "General", “Internet and Networking”,“Server Components”, click Next. 3. After collecting all log files, choose "Save the results", choose a folder to save <Computername>MPSReports.cab file. For your convenience, I have created a workspace for you. You can upload the information files to the following link. After further research I found that a CA was installed in the domain and removed, but there were still lingering peices in AD. I followed this article to remove the CA from AD: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/889250Jamie Fisher
