Customize user creation wizard

Is there any way to customize the user creation wizard in the Windows Server Essentials Dashboard of Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials? Specifically:

  1. The naming scheme used for the user account name field? By default, it just uses FirstnameLastname. In previous versions of Windows Small Business Server there was at least a dropdown box with different combinations but that has been removed.
  2. The option to require that the password is changed on first logon.
  3. The option to set a UPN suffix.

Thanks.

Ben.

Not that I am aware of. But I will take a look.

You do not have to use the wizard to add your users of course, it is quite easy to replicate the wizard with your own settings in PowerShell.

Hi,

According to your description, my understanding is that the set options which you have mentioned have been removed from Windows Server 2012 R2 essentials when creating user account by using Dashboard.

Links below has displayed the detailed tasks of Manage User Accounts in Windows Server Essentials:

you may open Active Directory Users and Computers Users to edit the user account related options which you have mentioned.
