Custom Password enforcement policy
Good Day
I need to implement the below policies on all users password for my server, is it possible and how do I?
Minimum Number of Characters -
Description: The minimum number of characters that a password must contain for the password to be valid for an APT Login.
Data type: Numeric (4 Digits)
Entry type: Text Box
Maximum Number of Characters-
Description: The maximum number of characters that a password can contain.
Data type: Numeric (4 Digits)
Entry type: Text Box
Number of Numeric-
Description: The minimum number of digits that a password must contain.
Data type: Numeric (4 Digits) - Can be zero
Entry type: Text Box
Number of Non-alphanumeric Characters-
Description: The minimum number of non-alphanumeric characters that a password can contain.
Data type: Numeric (4 Digits) - Can be zero
Entry type: Text Box
Disallow APT User Login-
Description: This specifies if the APT User Login will be accepted as the whole password or as part of the password.
Data type: Any
Entry type: check box
Number of Uppercase Characters-
Description: The minimum number of uppercase letters that a password must contain.
Data type: Numeric (4 Digits) - Can be zero
Entry type: Text Box
Repeated Characters-
Description: The maximum number of times a character can be repeated in a password.
Data type: Numeric (4 Digits) - Can be zero
Entry type: Text Box
Expires After Days-
Description: The duration in days for which users can use a password.
Data type: Numeric (4 Digits)
Entry type: Text Box
Disallow Last Passwords-
Description: The frequency at which old passwords can be reused, this determines the number of stored passwords, where this is zero then do not store password.
Data type: Numeric (2 Digits) - Can be zero
Entry type: Text Box
Warn before (Days)-
Description: The number of days before a User is notified that their password will expire on a designated date.
Data type: Numeric (2 Digits)
Entry type: Text Box
Attempts before login lockdown-
Description: The number of password attempts that a user can make before an APT Login will be deactivated/set to inactive
Data type: Numeric (2 Digits)
Entry type: Text Box
Reset login lockout counter after-
Description: The number of minutes that must elapse after a failed logon or multiple failed logon attempt/s before the User login is re-activated.
Data type: Numeric (4 Digits)
Entry type: Text Box
