We have been running Crystal Exterprise10 for years against a SQL database associated with our financial application. We recently upgraded the financial application which included an upgrade to server 2008 and SQL2010. Crystal enterprise shares the application server. Since the upgrade, we have this problem: When some of our users run a crystal report, the parameters present one at a time, with 'next' very similar to the crystal developer version of presenting parameters. For other users, the parameters all present together on a single 'weblike' (active x?) page. The parameter entry page is broken, not rendering properly and red x's where date selections normally are, etc. I suspect the two different prsentations are the thin client vs zero client viewers that crystal uses. I have two questions. 1. What governs which client is used when a report is run? It must be something in the user settings, because we have tested by signing onto crystal enterprise as different users, from the same PC, running the same report and get the varied results described. 2. How can I fix the bad version of the parameter rendering? Thank you.
