Hello,
In order to create a subscription/snapshot, you have to store credentials to run the report. If you don't store the credentials, when it goes to run unattended, it has no connection information.

Hello,
Go to the properties of your report, then click on 'Data Sources'on the left. In here, select 'Credentials stored securely in the report server' and supply a username and password. If you use a Windows account, you have togive the domain as well(domain\user) andcheck the box for 'Use as Windows credentials when connecting to the data source'. Hit Apply.
Hope this helps.

Hi Jarret, I am wondering can this be done by using cmd.exe with RS scripts?

hi Siva
well inorder to check the credentionals stored securely you have to first check A custom data source.

If the datasource is shared, you have to navigate to it.
By default in RS 2008 + the datasources are in a hidden folder called 'Data Sources'. On the main page of report manager, click 'details' and this folder should be revealed. Then you can find you data source and click 'manage' then follow the same instructions from Jarret.
Hi there,
is that the credentials that connects to data souce or my own user Credentials?
I tried both....didnt work. I just want to set up the reports to use the 'shared schedules' that I defined in the 'site settings'...and in the processing options, when I pick the Always run this rpeort with the most recent data and then cache a remp copy and then shared schedule, i have this error of 'Credentials used to run this report are not stored'
Hello,
I was getting the same error "credentials used to run this report are not stored SSRS". I opened up my datasource
and checked the option which says "Credentials stored securely in the report server." I gave my username and password but the issue remains the same. Any idea why this is happening?
