Hi,
I'm exploring creating local cube files, .cub from an excel sheet with tables.
Would SSAS be able to create one cube from taking data from a 1 way table (A, B, C), a 2 way table (AxB, BxC, AxC) and a 3 way table (AxBxC)?
Thank you!

Try using the Tabular Model. MOLAP cubes basically need an relational Datasource. Theroetically u could create a rel. DB without data and load the data directly from Excel via SSIS to your cube.
With Tabulat u can directly connect to your Excel sheets
Hi,
Thanks for your input! So do I import data from my excel tables to the Tabular Model? Then how do I eventually convert it to a .cub file?
