Copy Performance
I have seen instance when you copy large amount of data which takes several hours to complete throughput decreases . Initially it started more than 1000 MB per min and then finally its coming down to 300 or 400 MB per minute. I have seen this instance happening on all version of Windows expect windows 2008 R2 I would like to some suggesitons to keep the copy operation throughput. Please advise

Hi Customer, When you start to copy file, 1000 MB/MIN is not the actual speed that include cache file speed. You could look over actual copy speed from windows task manager networking tab. If you want to copy file with same speed to estimate the copy time. You could use copy utility like richcopy or eseutil. They provide strong copy function and good performance when you copy large file from network. You could refer to below article to know copy file performance details.
