Converting Physical Server to VM without VMM
Is it possible to virtualize a physical server to Hyper-V without SCVMM ? Anyone has any experience?

Yes it is. This http://blogs.technet.com/b/enterprise_admin/archive/2010/04/12/hyper-v-p2v-for-windows.aspx explains some of the options available, but realistically the easiest option in my opinion is to use Disk2VHD http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/ee656415.aspx to do the conversion since it doesn't require any 3rd party paid apps.
