I have Windowws XP, Explorer Version 8, and keep getting a dialogue box top left saying, "Your computor has denied access to this website". Then it freezes. I have gone into security options and tried to change password, but windows won't let me. I have gone into the control panel several times and "always allowed' my websites to no avail. I've done so much, including calling my local server, that my brain is numb. They said to call Microsoft, but I think somebody out there knows the answer. I'm not the only novice around. Please HELP! Thanks!

Hello Meme Yvonne,From what you are describing, it seems that someone has turn on content Advisor..To check go to tools->Internet Options->select Content tab and see if it says enable or it says disable. If it is enabled, you can disable it..I hope this sould solve your issue, if not please post back so we can look at other options may be looking into the winxp local security policiesIsaac Oben MCITP:EA, MCSE

Dear Isaac, I thank you very much for your helpful suggestion. I don't know how to disable the content advisor. I checked the boxes so many times to enable or disable this or that, in order for my flash drive to work(which it still doesn't), that I don't know the original settings. I was doing well on Explorer 7, I wish I'd stayed with that! Please tell me how to disable my content advisor. Thanks! Yvonne
