Hi, I have 6-7 years experience with high Windows server administration, installation, designig and pre-sales support. Now, I can see that's is not enough for our customers, we must offer them consultant service. How to become Microsoft consultatn, based on MOF/MSF procedures...? Thnx

You may start from MOF to get the idea how to plan, transition and operation IT service to assist business and create value to the customer. Microsoft Operations Framework 4.0 Foundation Certification Course http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/course.aspx?ID=50237A 2. Escalate ITSM methodology to ITIL/CobiT to get strategy view of service management. Know how to change the IT service from cost center to some kind of strategy assets with value provided align with core businesses. 3. To do deeper to the business, MBA programs will introduce you to the various areas of business such as accounting, marketing, human resources, operations management, etc. With the good understanding of business, you can design and operate effective Services to support Business Units to pursuit business outcomes.

Hi, 1) Yes, MOF seems very useful for MS IT world, so I'll study all available documentation I'm an MCT trainer and cannot find 50237 exam on download sections. Is it new exam? 2) MOF is much familiar then ITIL 3) Hm, MBA... Yes, interesting. 15-20 k $, 2 years, studing on weekends... I have to think about it.
