Connection Timed Out Error accessing cloudapp URLs

@AzureSupport I can't currently access several cloudapp.net hosted urls. Is there a problem?

I get a connection timed out error.

On the East US servers we were experiencing problems as well. Shortly after you posted this they posted a status update on http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/status/. Within minutes we started seeing improvements. Hopefully your issues are resolving as well.

Hi,

We had partial service interruption where a small number of Virtual Machines in East US were unavailable due to a Storage outage.

PST]  - Between approximately 19:30 and 20:20 on 19 Aug 2015 some Virtual
Machines customers in East US may have been unable to access one or more
Virtual Machines. We identified an issue with two supporting Storage nodes. We
have isolated these nodes and removed them from rotation, and customer Virtual
Machines will automatically migrate to a healthy node where they will restart.
We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

The issue is resolved from our end and I hope you're services are up and running now. For any service interruptions or outages you can check the status on Azure Status Page
