Connecting Windows 8.1 and 10 clients using Essentials connector

Hi,

Has anyone yet tested to connect Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 (RTM and Insider builds after RTM) to Windows Server 2016 TP3 using the Essentials connector? If yes, what experiences do you have, and what connector have you used?

Hi Jussi,

I'd like to ask, you are just asking a question or you are facing any issues ? If you haven't tried yet, you could probably try it first. It should work properly with Windows Server 2016 TP3 with Windows 8.1 and 10.

You don't need to take any extra manual step, Essentials should take care of the download, installation and run as before.

If you want to get the package by yourself, though you don't need to , here is for your reference -

Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 RTM are sharing the same package

I'm asking a question before spending hours in upgrading the server, and possibly then reverting it from backup if it doesn't work. As with TP2 it didn't work.
