Connect Linux printserver with DHCP to Active Directory DNS

Hi,

I have set up a Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials with a simple AD forest. I'm also running a DHCP Server and the DNS Server (as part of the AD). Clients belonging to the domain obtain their IP from the DHCP and get propagated to the DNS with the correct hostname and domain.

What I also have, is a linux based printserver obtaining an IP address via DHCP. Although I can see an address lease including the correct FQDN from within the DHCP Server Manager, it is not being resolved by the DNS server.

Any idea where this might come from and how to fix it?

Thanks,
Klayman
