I have installed VA services roles , after completed installation i try to explore the VA service. And i found two options configure active directory based activation and KMS activation. I understand the first optiion , But the first option need to configure Active Directory to Windows server 2012 schema level, and i don't know step to upgrade process to that level. I need to know and need guide to upgrade my Active directory schema level and what prerequisite to reached it. The two options is KMS activation. I have read several article about KMS activation , but i don't understand about it. What the meaning of KMS host? and How to configure it? and what the difference about KMS and MAK? whether there is similarity between the two (KMS and MAK)? I believe that the 2nd option is match with my condition, iam not possible to configure the 1st option because my client still use Windows XP and windows server 2003. Thanks, Yunior
