at Microsoft.UpdateServices.UI.SnapIn.Dialogs.EmailNotificationSettingsDialog.backgroundWorker_DoWork(Object sender, DoWorkEventArgs e)
My configurations:
E-mail changed by confidenciality purpose, but I´m using a validated BPOS account.
Any idea!?

So there's no way to use an e-mail BPOS to configure the sending of notifications from WSUS?
Just like that!?Daniel L. Carlucci

This is a limitation of WSUS, not Office, BPOS, or any other product. WSUS does not support sending notifications via TLS.
Ostensibly the presumption when WSUS was created in 2005 is that such notifications would be sent internally, and thus not need the use of secure email.
Obviously that was before Microsoft's great push to use Office/Outlook online. I'll make sure the WSUS team is aware of the importance of adding TLS capabilities to WSUS.Lawrence Garvin, M.S., MCITP:EA, MCDBA, MCSA
