Configure networking Hyper-V cluster

Hi!

Are playing around with Windows Server 2012 and have some questions regarding network configuration.

We have Team 0 that we are using for Administration and Live Migration.

Should we configure these be on different net? for example say Adm/LM be on 10.0.0.0 and Production on 192.168.0.0 or could both be on the same network ?

Thanks for an

As far as I remember - having them on diffenent subnets is prefered.

Here is pretty nice post on Technet blog, that you may find useful:

It is very rare that it is good practice to have two NICs on the same subnet.  One of the benefits of NIC teaming is that you can further divide the team into virtual NICs and assign different subnets to the virtual NICs.  Then you can apply quality of service on the different subnets to control traffic.

as a best practice you can uset two subnets, also consider about hb network, backup network and management network also.if you want you can run hyper-v best practice analyzer also.
