Computer spares responses for post lunch day, why?
I am using Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise installed on Intel Atom 1.6GHz, 1GB RAM (hard disk has atmost 400MB free space of 9.53GB). I am facing few problems, 1. Computer works slowestly if not seizes when started in the morning everyday, but becomes fastest after 14.00 hours. 2. New software install or uninstall of software degrades system response if used without rebooting, whether program asks or doesn't asks reboot. 3. I haven't received 'Disk space low warning'. 4. Must I connect computer to network before any other use.

Computer greetings Ravikumar, You sent correct system requirement for Windows Server 2008 R2, but I early on succeded running this OS on Intel 810 Celeron 775MHz, 512MB RAM computer, but problem of system response remains. As per Intel FAQs about Intel Atom Processor and useful link http://www.intel.com/support/processors/atom/sb/CS-030201.htm#9 Intel Atom Processor--Which operating systems are supported?: The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 driver for the Intel Atom processor technology supports the following operating systems: Windows* Windows 7 Home Basic (32-bit and 64-bit versions)* Windows 7 Starter Edition* Windows Vista* (32-bit and 64-bit versions) Windows XP* (32-bit and 64-bit versions) So, based Intel'data its true you can face performance issues if you install "Windows Server 2008 R2". Note:The only solution for you is we have to use compatibale processor which supports Win2008 R2. Regards, Ravikumar P

Computer greetings Ravikumar, I also installed Graphics Accelerators successfully on Intel 810 and Intel Atom, these were crucial reasons needing OS reinstall should Video adaptor corrupts, I lost a laptop of NVIDIA graphics card for similar cause. Motherboards configuration readings stops computer from running. Whether there are few of these critical configurations needs attention for slowest computer? Or whether all of computer's hardware needs well beyond system requirements of OS?

These tasks needs disabling. 2. Close running programs execpt network's internet connection (TATA DOCOMO 3G dongle connection for me), and do standard shut down of computer, but should power supply is switched off before shutting down computer, rebooted system runs faster. 3. I am using a Linux based bootup CD created using Lazesoft's free software, even if system doesn't seizes for normal start (but run truly slow). 4. I generally installed a program using webinstller (however small) just for sake of a procedure which runs system faster. I am glad to use Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, fast, photogenic, responding and error free. Best of luck.
