We have recently upgrade the domain from 2003 to 2008. All DC's are 2008 and domain level 2008 forest level 2003. We are not running wins or DHCP on the networks. We are not able to browse network and display all computers in the domain. After doing some research and troubleshooting I have enable the computer browser service on the all DC's. When I do a browstat status from the PDC and I get Status for domain TEST on transport \Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{0098EE52-F8C6-46D7 C13-B0633B001607} Browsing is active on domain. Master browser name is: TEST-DC1 Master browser is running build 6002 3 backup servers retrieved from master TEST-DC1 \\FI2620 \\TEST-DC1 \\EXECT Unable to retrieve server list from TEST-DC1 : 1130 Status for domain TEST on transport \Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{F37F079A-1AD1-430E F1C-D7E9C89B4D7D} Browsing is active on domain. Master browser name is: TEST-DC1 Master browser is running build 6002 1 backup servers retrieved from master TEST-DC1 \\TEST-DC1 Unable to retrieve server list from TEST-DC1: 1130 Should Computer browse service be running on 2008 dc's. What else can be done to get the computers to be display when browsing?

did you use any third party firewall in your network? check netbt service should start on systems
