SharePoint and MQSeries client complains about prerequisites.

Yeah.

That website says: Run the Host Integration Server (HIS) installation

And HIS gives me this:

For BizTalk Adapter for WebSphere MQ you need to have IBM WebSphere MQ V7.5 or V7.1 (Client, Extended Transactional Client, or Server) installed.

For MQSeries Agent:

You need to install the IBM websphere MQ for windows. Following article gives step-by-step guidance on installing and enabling MQSeries Agent.

For Windows SharePoint Service Adapter Web Service:

Its grayed out because of the following conditions:

  • Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 SP2 and the Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 Language Template Pack are installed on the BizTalk Server computer.
  • You have uninstalled Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 SP2 without uninstalling the Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 Language Template Pack.
  • You have installed Windows SharePoint Services 3.0.

To resolve this issue follow these steps:

  1. Uninstall Windows SharePoint Services 3.0.
  2. Uninstall the Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 Language Template Pack.
  3. Reinstall Windows SharePoint Services 3.0.

For clarity...

You have to get the MQS client from IBM.  If you have MQS on prem, then contact the admin of that platform.  Unless you will be developing an app the integrates with MQS/WMQ, you should not install this.

You should not install the SharePoint Adapter Web Service as it was deprecated with BizTalk Server 2010.  Additionally, the SharePoint Adapter Web Service goes on the SharePoint Server not the BizTalk Server computer, unless you are running SharePoint locally as well which is really recommendable only for DEV.  It was not required locally to use the legacy SharePoint Adapter model.

BizTalk Server 2010 shipped with support for the new SharePoint Client Object Model for which you must install locally.  SCOM supports SharePoint 2010, 2013 and SharePoint Online.

Details on the SharePoint client requirements are all in the BizTalk install guides.  See here:  https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj248709.aspx
