Complex Passwords - Non-alphabetic characters
I am running a Windows 2008 R2 AD environment and have "Complex passwords" GPO enabled. I need to know if there is a list of all the non-alphabetic characters that can be used in an AD complex password. If not can someone tell me if the following list of characters is OK: ! (exclamation point), % (percent sign), * (asterisk), + (plus sign), - (dash or minus sign), ? (question mark), _ (underscore) I need to have chacters that are accepted by both AD and SUN's directory services. Thanks.
