Common Admin Practice
Is it common network security practice to have different domain users that perform admin tasks on servers use a shared common login as opposed to their own AD login? Thanks.

NO NO..It is a bad practice as far as I know. It is recommended you create two accounts for each user. An Admin and a regular domain accounts. Admin accounts to perform admin related task etc. If you allow all admins to use a single account then, if something breaks and no one takes responsibility, then you have yourself to blame.Isaac Oben MCITP:EA, MCSE

Hello, i agree with Isaac, don't work with shared accounts, if failures occur you aren't able to find the administrator doing this. Only personal accounts can give you the option to log all changes done from the admins.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
