Cloning Azure
So lets see, me and my puny server vs Azure. I already have Server 08 R2 up, Sharepoint 2010, SQL 2008 R2, and Lync 2010. I have the developer Team Foundation Server as I am a developer and it seems to be a prudent install given it plays nice with the above. So am I missing anything on my private cloud? Those are good references but I am a tad more advanced. I looked over Office 365 offerings and I see my stack now resembles that offering. The only difference is my box hosts the software. I added Team Foundation Server after inquiring about safety and compatibility on MSDN My goal is to have a strong server that can deliver from a development point of view. I have that more or less licked. I have not needed the VM Manger as I use remote desktop which seems to be 10x more useful. Windows MVP, XP, Vista, 7.
