Hi Syed, thanks for your reply. I have been told that the function cannot be enabled as it takes too much bandwith hense my question. I would like to understand exactly how much, if any, bandwith it uses. Based on the following MS article in previous versions the bandwidth usage was of 173 bytes (1384 bits) for each minute for each client. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=186505

Hi, Thanks for your post. Please note that we cannot measure for the specific amount of bandwidth required for this function, because it involves many factors (monitor size/number of monitors/color depth/etc). The KB provided was talking about previous version Windows which has limitation with network speed. However, nowadays the network speed is highly improved than before. I do not think this will take most of the bandwidth in your connection. In addition, you may check the following blog to choose the proper connection speed for optimize the RDP performance.
