Clarification hub and spoke
Asked a question previously , maybe didn't make myself clear. In a hub and spoke AD infrastructure with site link bridging enabled per default. What behaviour would I expect under normal circumstances for site connection objects... Scenario: hub with spoke sites A, B, and C. Hub has individual site link to each of the spoke sites. In normal circumstances would I expect to just see a single connection object on the spoke sites , i.e. to enable replication between then and the hub? I shouldn't normally see connection objects for all the other spoke sites too? I understand in a full routed network that in a failure the KCC would create a connection object between spokes, I am just not sure if they are there by default or only appear after the KCC defines that a reroute must be done. Thanks!

Hello, I'm not sure to fully understand what you wan't to know, but here are some tips: -be sure to have correctly defined your sites and that you associated to rights subnet(s) to each site. -the links created by the KCC are visible and appear as 'automatically generated'. -in a fully-meshed env. the KCC is the best option, this is the most efficient way. -regarding you AD size, your bandwitdh, your topology, ... you can desable the kcc between sites only and keep the kcc in local sites (for ex). it can be achieved easilly with a vb script that you can find there: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/245610 I hope it helps.
