Changing password expiration day in domain
I have a question about changing the password expiration warning in Domain. My users wish to have the password expiration warning prompt before the last 5 days instead of the dafult 14 days. I checked the group policy at the Domain Controller -> Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options -> I found "Interactive Login: Prompt user to change password before expiration" and is "Not Defined". Is it what I am looking for? If I change "Not Defined" to "5" and will this fullfill my users request and change the password expiration warning days and prompting for password change? Thank you for help in advance.

With this advance warning, the user has time to construct a password that is sufficiently strong. If I change "Not Defined" to "5" and will this fullfill my users request and change the password expiration warning days and prompting for password change? Thank you for help in advance. If you change it to 5 then the expiration warnings will appear before five days of changing the password. The expiration warning will continue to be displayed. After 5 days of its appearance, the user should change his password. So, you configure your password strategy so that you determine the repetitive delay for changing passwords and you use this Group Policy entry so that you warn users.
