Changing Hot Spare to Increase Volume Size

Not sure how this happened, but I have 4 HDDs (0 to 3), and HDD 1 is in state "Ready" instead of "Online", and as a Hot Spare.  Is there way to change the Hot Spare to increase the total raid capacity?

I'm using Dell PE2900, Win 2003 Srv, PERC 5/i Integrated, 4x 145GB SAS drives.  I've updated the firmwares, BIOS, drivers, and latest Dell OMS v7.4.0.  But I don't see any option to convert the Hot Spare.

Thanks.

Hi,

Please test to use this cmdlet in PowerShell:

Set-PhysicalDisk PhysicalDisk-1 -Usage AutoSelect

If it will not work, you can also try to retire it and re-add it to the existing storage pool.
