Hello edwardm2005,
Open an elevated cmd prompt and run slmgr /ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
that will change your product keyThanks, Darrell Gorter This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. VAMT - Volume Activation Management Tool - Download link http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=ec7156d2-2864-49ee-bfcb-777b898ad582&displaylang=en

Hi,
You’d better run the following commands to clear the KMS entry and product key installed before entering another product key:
Slmgr.vbs –ckms (This parameter clears
KMS entry)
Slmgr.vbs –upk (This parameter removes
product key installed)
Then run the command
slmgr.vbs –ipk xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.
Please note that if you use KMS to activate the machine, pay attention to enter a KMS client setup key for Windows Server 2008, not enter the
KMS host key if this server isn’t installed as a KMS host. You can find the proper KMS client up from the following link:

Best Regards
Dale
