Hi, You’d better run the following commands to clear the KMS entry and product key installed before entering another product key: Slmgr.vbs –ckms (This parameter clears KMS entry) Slmgr.vbs –upk (This parameter removes product key installed) Then run the command slmgr.vbs –ipk xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx. Please note that if you use KMS to activate the machine, pay attention to enter a KMS client setup key for Windows Server 2008, not enter the KMS host key if this server isn’t installed as a KMS host. You can find the proper KMS client up from the following link: KMS Client Setup Keys Best Regards Dale Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
